What do Beavers get up to?

The Beaver section is for young people aged between 6 and 8 years old. The Beavers are introduced into the world of scouting and work towards their Bronze Chief Scout’s Award after completing a number of challenge awards.
We have two Beaver Colonies which run on a Wednesday and Thursday nights between 6:00pm and 7:15pm

During the two years that the young people are with the colony, they get a chance to experience their first hike and their first night away from Mum and Dad. They also get a chance to experience some activities that they could be doing if they move up into cubs.
