Why join the Scouts?
Meet our incredible team of ambassadors. They all different kinds of people but have one thing in common: to share far and wide how Scouts is helping young people gain skills for life.

Squirrels belong to the youngest section in the Scouting family aged between four and six years old

Beavers belong to the second section in the Scouting family aged between six and eight years old

Cub Scouts belong to the third section in the Scouting family aged between eight and ten and a half years old

Learn MorePaying in Money
Any money paid into the Group should be in an envelope with your Child’s name and Section (i.e. Beavers, Cubs or Scouts), and what the money is for (i.e. Subs, Camp, Uniform, Badges, etc.)

Subscriptions, Starting and Moving Up Fees
Subscriptions can be paid by direct debit monthly or termly by cash or cheque. Please speak to your leader as this process is currently changing.
- The Start-up Fee covers uniform, scarf, certificate, badges, and badge books.
Activities/Events
Activities and events such as Camp, Bowling, etc., will be charged for separately and letters covering any such events will be sent out by the Leader of your Section.
On some occasions you will be required to fill out appropriate consent forms for the activity they will be attending.
